Winterisation Schedule - Inboard
- Start - And warm up engine
- Check - All instrument readings
- Check - For fuel, oil, water leaks
- Change - Engine Oil Level & Condition
- Change - Engine Oil filter
- Change - Pre-filter bowl, change all fuel filters
- Vent - Fuel system
- Inhibit - Upper cylinder and valves
- Change - Spark plugs / remove injectors and service
- Fit - New CB (except electronic), inhibit ignition system
- Check - Thermostat. Drain and inhibit raw water system
- Check - Coolant Levels, Mixture/Top Up (change biennially)
- Change - Coolant Filter change biennially
- Change - Rubber water pump impeller and store
- Clean - Water strainer
- Check - And lubricate speed control and reverse gear linkage
- Check - Oil level in reverse gear / or change
- Remove - and check condition of props
- Check - Engine and reverse gear, touch up paint (by request only)
- Check - and protect with moisture repellant spray all electrical connections
- Check - Alternator belt(s) condition, leave slackened
- Check - And replace sacrificial anodes
- Check - All rubber hoses and hoseclips
- Remove - Air filter or clean non-replaceable types
- Remove - Engine breather where applicable
- Check - Cam/supercharger belts condition
- Blank - All orifices and ports from atmosphere
- Check - Engine mounts, shaft alignment and coupling fixings
- Remove - Check, clean and charge batteries
- Clean - And dry bilges
- Leave boat clean and free from oil and grease
